Getting started!

We roll two balls differently from dough about size. This will be the basis of all our work.

 Two balls

Two balls

One ball (more) is flattened. We turn it into a teapot, sticking a lid, pen, stand and spout. We flatten the second ball on one side only, using an even object (for example, a ruler). We get the basis for the mug, to which also need to attach a pen and stand. In order to fasten the parts firmly with each other, we slightly wet the contacting surfaces with water or diluted with PVA glue. You can additionally fix the details with thin wooden sticks or needles.

 Teapot and calyx

We supplement the mug and calyx with decorative with the elements: we let a strip decorated with a dotted pattern on the edge of the stand and the lid, and stick one large flower to the flank. We leave our dishes to dry.

Meanwhile, we roll out a long thin dough sausage.

We make miniature donuts, pretzels and long loaves of pigtails.

In order for cinnamon to hold better, we pre-lubricate the surface with yolk or glue. You can pre-paint the “baking” with a pale yellow watercolor.

You can use a variety of options for dressing, any seasoning and spices you have on hand - for example, sesame seeds.

Dried up dishes Do cover with a layer of well-diluted brown watercolor paint. It should be transparent, but at the same time quite noticeable - then the dishes will look like real.

While the paint is drying, we are preparing a design for our picture — a round wooden frame for a photo, thick lace and a chintz strip.

In the frame, on a cardboard basis, we decompose all the components. A gift to my grandmother with my own hands is ready! Fix all the elements with glue, varnish. For a pleasant aroma and an additional shade of color, immediately after its application, you can pre-sprinkle some things (for example, a teapot and a mug) with ground cinnamon. Instead of varnish, you can use PVA glue.
