How to cook cabbage donuts on kefir

You will need
  • For the test:
  • - kefir - 500 ml;
  • - wheat flour - 900 g;
  • - eggs - 2 pcs .;
  • - Sunflower oil - 0.5 tsp;
  • - soda - 0.5 tsp;
  • - mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons;
  • - sugar - 0.5 tsp;
  • - Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • For filling;
  • - White cabbage;
  • - onions - 1 pc .;
  • - salt.
Kefir, poured into a separate and rather deep cup, mix with the following ingredients: soda, sugar, raw chicken eggs, as well as mayonnaise, salt and sunflower oil. In the resulting mixture in several stages, enter the wheat flour, sifting it through a sieve at least 2 times. After kneading the soft and elastic dough, wrap it in a plastic bag or cling film. In this form, keep the dough warm for 2 hours, no less.
With cabbage, do the following: remove the top sheets from it, and cut the rest into small pieces and mash them lightly with your palms. Combine the chopped cabbage with chopped onions into small cubes. Simmer this vegetable mixture until fully cooked, not forgetting to stir it from time to time.
Divide the finished dough so that you get a lot of the same size pieces. Each of them turn into a ball, then roll out with a rolling pin into a small cake.
Place a small amount of cabbage filling in the middle of the formed cakes. Fix the edges of the dough so that you end up with donuts.
In a skillet or cauldron, pour a sufficiently large amount of oil for the deep fat fryer and fry in it, after he had heated it, future donuts on each side.
Remove the fried balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel. Due to this, they will drain excess fat.
