Mother's Day Rose Paper
Even one simple rose from paper for mother's day, made by the hands of a child, will make a worthy competition to a magnificent bouquet of fresh flowers. The crafts for Mother's Day are so wonderful that they are made for the most devoted and supportive fan of children's creativity.
Rose from paper for Mother's Day
In order to make a rose, we need a sheet of two-sided colored paper. Choose a hue according to your and my mom's taste preferences.
On the selected sheet, starting from the center, we draw a spiral with a marker or a pencil. The last of its turns must be on the edge of the sheet. We leave a distance between the neighboring turns of the spiral, based on what depth we will need a bud. If we plan to make a lush fully blooming flower - the distance between the stripes can be narrower. And if we need long closed buds -draw lines at a sufficient width from each other.
Draw a spiral
Take scissors cut the sheet in line. Carefully twist the paper tape into a roll, starting from the central tip, and we get a rose. Fix the paper with glue, putting a drop in the middle and on the tip of the paper strip.
We twist a rose from a paper strip
If desired, we make as many such buds as we need. You can create a composition of monochromatic roses, and you can make a bright multicolored bouquet.
As a small stalk for each rose, we use any stick, wire wrapped in green colored paper or self-adhesive film, or simply paper twisted into a tight roll.
