Charging the phone from a 9 V battery

This master class will show you how you can get 5 volts for USB from a 9 volt battery and use it to charge your mobile phone. The photograph shows the assembled scheme in operation, but this is not the final version, since I will also make the body for it at the end. So, let's start manufacturing.

Charging for a phone with a 9 V battery
The picture shows the components necessary for assembling a charger, including one empty case from an old battery, in which the device will be built in. Components and materials:
  • Old battery for the case.
  • USB port.
  • IC controller 7805 .
  • One green LED.
  • Resistors 220R - 3 pcs.
  • Solder.
  • Wires.

Charging the phone from a 9 V battery
After disassembling the old battery, you can solder the parts to the base with a connector. It is going to be all in five minutes, and I think that nothing needs to be explained, except for resistors connected to the middle USB contacts - Data + and Data-. And they are needed so that the cell phone itself understands that it is connected to the charger and not to the computer to transfer data. The circuit does not need to be set up and starts working right away. The LED indicates the flow of charging current. If it is not lit, then the battery is fully discharged, or the phone is fully charged.
