Spanish hot chocolate

Spanish hot chocolateis a recipe.


  1. 2 glasses of unsweetened almond milk (or plain milk);
  2. 1/2 tsp. starch;
  3. 100 grams of dark or bitter chocolate;
  4. pinch of salt;
  5. sugar (optional).


Pour 1/2 cup of milk into a small bowl, add starch and beat. We set aside.

Heat the remaining milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the chocolate and mix until it melts.

Add the starch mixture in a thin trickle, stirring, and cook, also stirring, for several minutes or until the hot chocolate thickens.

Add a small pinch of salt. Let's try and add sugar as desired.
