Valentine heart

Valentine's Day is celebrated in Russia not so long ago, but this holiday is firmly established in our open spaces. Lovers have chosen this holiday and gladly give each other romantic ones. But whatever gifts were presented, the main symbol of this holiday is the heart, as a symbol of love. Now in the shops you can buy a lot of different hearts from different materials, but nothing can compare with the heart made by your own hands, where you put your love, warmth and soul. We offer you one of the options for making such a heart, using the art of origami. Origami is the creation of various paper figures. This art came to us from ancient China, where paper was first invented. Initially, the figures were invented for religious purposes, then it was the property of people from the upper classes. Now it is available to every person who is not indifferent to the art of creating their own hands.

You will need:

Origami paper 16 cm x 16 cm red in color.
Valentine's heart

Manufacturing process:

1. You can take paper of different sizes, as long as the sides of the square are the same. If the size is larger, then the heart, too, will be larger. 2. You can also take the paper not only red, but also pink, as you like best. 3. We fold the leaf in half.
4. We open the leaf and again fold in half on the other side. Inside we got a cross from the folds.
5. Now we fold one side in half and align with the line in the center.
6. We turn over our leaf and, on the side of the bent strip, dub the two sides with the line in the center, so that we get an “airplane.”
7. Again, we turn our product and the distant edges from the angle of the "airplane" are equal to the line in the center.
8.Now we fold the corners on both sides, so that we get the nose of the airplane, but on the other side.
9. Further we connect two corners together, and we smooth inside the turned out "ears". It looks like some little animal's mouth.
Then we apply the convex corners clearly along the line.
11. Now we bend the free corners so that we get triangles from two sides.
12. We put one corner of the "mouth" into another, there is such a "pocket" there.
13. Two resulting triangles are bent.
We turn over our product and the heart-valentine is ready.
