What is mumiyo

Despite the fact that in any pharmacy in the free access there is a mummy, modern medicine is in no hurry to introduce it into practice. This is due to insufficient knowledge of the nature of the product of nature, although research has nevertheless been and is being conducted.

Mysteries of the origin of "mountain wax"

The hypothesis of the origin of the name of the mummy and the reasons for the appearance on the rocks of the high mountains of this resinous substance are vast. Since the mummy is found in India, Africa, Mongolia, Australia, China, South America and several other countries of Central Asia, everywhere there is a name that, in translation, essentially means the same thing: juice, oil , tar, blood or wax rocks. According to one of the versions "mum" and translated as wax.
Indeed, mumiyo consistency is akin to wax, which can be softened with the warmth of hands. It is mined high in the mountains, most often above the mark of 1.5-2 thousand meters above sea level. Mumiyo is a raw material located in crevices of lime-calcium rocks. To use it has yet to clear.Initially, wild bees were suspected of his appearance, but they do not live at such a height.
A careful scientific analysis of the composition of the mummy revealed that it is a product that includes organic, inorganic and mineral constituents. The organic part has a biogenic plant-animal nature. This is most often the excrement of animals that once tasted medicinal plants growing at a given height. This is confirmed by the fact that mumiyo accumulations are found precisely in the habitats of pikas, argali, bats or wild pigeons. The inorganic part includes 50 chemical elements, including 10 metal oxides.

Mumiyo species

Scientists believe that the creation of mummy took part in animal remains, plants, soil, small particles of rocks, wood, and therefore, to use it for treatment, raw mummy must undergo multilevel cleaning and enrichment, during which heavy metals will be removed. Otherwise, its use is unsafe.
The chemical composition of mummies is not constant and has a heterogeneous structure, because they depend on the place and conditions of formation.From here and different color which varies from light yellow with gray impregnations to black. All products called mumiyo can be divided into groups:
- mountain, where the composition is dominated by minerals and there are practically no animal remains;
- honey-wax - the product of wild bees, subjected to polymerization from prolonged lying;
- excrement - petrified excrement of small rodents from time to time;
- bituminous - the mass formed from anaerobic decomposition of vegetation;
- juniper - resin, released from trunks of juniper, spruce, pine, mixed with soil and leaked onto the slopes of the rocks;
- cadaver - formed during the slow decomposition of insects or animals.
According to scientists, it is a mummy, formed from excrement, enriched with soil and the activity of microorganisms, is an excellent tool for wound healing and tissue regeneration.
