Wind Turbine Generator

Let's start assembling the mechanical part of the generator. Generator parts are shown below. They are all made of steel. For the ring used tape of transformer steel, but you can do with a steel sleeve.

Install the steel magnetic circuit in the form of a ring over the coil and insert 4 bolts. Bolts with a diameter of 6mm and a length of 20mm.

Install the top plate by pulling it with bolts. Tighten the bolts effortlessly so as not to damage the threads on theplate.

Tightening the center nut, press the cross-shaped magnetic core to the coil so that it does not protrude beyond the plane of the upper plate.

At this point, the stator assembly can be considered complete.

Magnets on the rotor shouldbe edited by the location of the polesTherefore, before their labeling, it is necessary to mark the poles of the same name, for example, with a marker. The easiest way to do this, collecting all the magnets in a column.In this case, all poles of the same name will be oriented in the same direction.

Place the magnets on the rotor, alternating the poles.

After installing the magnets, you can glue around them with glue for final fixation. However, the magnets even without glue hold well. &Nbsp;

If multiplication is not necessary, then the capacitor is connected between the plus and minus outputs and we remove them from the diodes. In the absence of a soldering iron, the rectifier can be assembled so that,as shown in the figures below.

Connect the generator to the rectifier at points AC.

And connect the multimeter to the output.

With fast rotation, you can get almost 40 V at no load.
